Laser cutting
Laser cutting machines perform blanking, profile cutting and contour machining of metal sheets and tubes. This technical reference covers positioning, product lines, core components, functions, intelligent capabilities and typical specifications.
1. Positioning and capability
A focused high-energy laser beam cuts metal without contact. Typical materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and galvanized sheet, tubes and coils. Five-axis machines also trim and pierce formed three-dimensional parts.
Main advantages
• No tooling wear; drawing changes enable rapid prototyping and small batches.
• Narrow kerf and small heat-affected zone can reduce secondary processing.
• High positioning and repeatability support consistent batch dimensions.
• Automated loading and unloading can form continuous production lines.
2. Product line reference: Bodor

The M series adds edge-crossing protection with follow sensing and path avoidance, a third-generation mortise-and-tenon welded bed with 25% higher structural strength, and optional camera/AI weld-seam recognition for avoidance during cutting.
3. Welding and bending
HiCut and Air / Pro / Aqu handheld laser welding machines support welding and repair. Bending machines complement the cutting workflow.
4. Automation and digital platforms
Fully automatic options include iTower, iTransTower, iTrans, T-Trans, M-Trans and K-Trans. Semi-automatic options include iLoader, iLoader Neo, T-Loader, M-Loader, K-Loader and K-Loader Pro. These combine loading, cutting and unloading. BodorPlus supports industrial IoT interaction, BodorMES production management and BodorHUB data acquisition.
3. Core components and warranty
Bodor identifies three proprietary components with a five-year manufacturer warranty: BodorPower laser source, BodorThinker operating system and BodorGenius cutting head. Integrated development shortens parameter matching, tuning and fault diagnosis.
4. Core functions
Eight functions address material savings, time savings, stability and safety.
